4-5 months preggy experience

We had our check-up last July 3, 2014 and also had CAS (Congenital Anomaly Scan) on that day.  I was happy seeing our little one on the monitor but disappointed on the other hand.  Disappointed because the OB-Sonologist was not even telling what he had seen, he didn't even talk while performing the procedure.  What made me nervous was when he focused on our baby's heart for a while.  I was scared that there was a problem.  Gladly after seeing the result of the CAS, there was nothing written in the remarks that I should worry about.

Baby was in breech position when we had our ultrasound that's why we were not able to know the gender.  For me, as long as our baby is normal and healthy, I cannot ask for more. ☺

By the way, the night of the same day, I felt his/her very first kicks. This was the most wonderful feeling in the world!  I swear!  Now that our baby kicks or moves often, I can't help but smile everytime I feel it.

Covering the 3 months absence

Oh hello there!  Yes I know, I've been inactive for about 3 months or so?

Just to cover those 3 months, let me share to you what happened on my pregnancy while I was away.  Everything was going smoothly not until I got so stressed at work.  I had spotting on my 8th week though it only occurred once *Thank God*.  I was advised by my OB to bed rest for a week, take Isoxilan and try to relax.  Thank you to my dear husband who took care of me.

During my bed rest, that was the time I hated the most because I can't left my work behind.  I mean, how can you relax if you know that you have pending work in the office?  Sadly to say, yes I had to work at home because I need to help my staff.  This was also when I experienced vomiting because of pregnancy.  This lasted for 2 weeks - 1 month I guess.

As mentioned on my previous post, I need to undergo lab tests.  Done with the tests and was diagnosed with GDM (Gestational Diabetes Mellitus), diabetes that occurs during pregnancy.  I was actually expecting it because it runs in our blood.  I have to check my sugar level everyday and make sure that before breakfast, my sugar level is not over 90 and not over 140 every meal (breakfast, lunch and dinner).
